Ben Aaronovitch

Ben Aaronovitch ( born 1964 in London ) is a British novelist and screenwriter.

Ben Aaronovitch is the son of British economist Sam Aaronovitch, his brothers are the actor Owen Aaronovitch and journalist David Aaronovitch. In 1988 and 1989 he wrote two stories of the British television series Doctor Who, broadcast in four episodes. From this and the wider region of the Doctor - Who- world also emerged five novels Aaronovitchs. For the books, he created the character Kadiatu Lethbridge - Stewart, who previously never appeared in the original series, but occurred in several offshoots. Other screenplays he wrote for the series Jupiter Moon, Casualty and The Dark Knight. In the German-speaking world, he is known primarily for its urban fantasy novels by the police and sorcerer's apprentice Peter Grant in The Rivers of London series.

Aaronovitch lives in Wimbledon and operates a bookstore in London.
