Ben Jones (Grenada)

Ben Joseph Jones (* August 5, 1924, † 10 February 2005) was a Grenadian politician.

Jones worked as a lawyer before he was elected in 1984 to the New National Party in the Parliament. He served as Foreign Minister of the Government of Herbert Blaize. As Blaize died in December 1989, Jones became Prime Minister. This office he held until the elections in March 1990, in which his party lost. He also gave up the foreign minister post, but was reappointed to this office in the same year. Although his party had lost the elections, he still served until 1991 as Foreign Minister.

Jones died on 10 February 2005.
