Ben Ondrus

Benjamin Ondrus ( born June 25, 1982 in Sherwood Park, Alberta ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who is since September 2011 at the Krefeld Penguins in the German Ice Hockey League contract.

Career

Ondrus played during his junior time in the Western Hockey League with the Swift Current Broncos. After he left a good impression at a rookie camp of the Toronto Maple Leafs, he got a contract for the farm team, the St. John 's Maple Leafs, available from the American Hockey League. Here he was able to convince and was first used in the 2005/06 season in the NHL. In July 2010 he was engaged by the Edmonton Oilers, which put him in the farm team for the Oklahoma City Barons in the AHL. Since September 2011, Ondrus plays at the Krefeld Penguins.
