Benas Veikalas

Benas Veikalas (* September 24 1983 in Joniškis ) is a Lithuanian professional basketball player. The 1.92 meter tall shooting guard plays since 2011 for Telekom Baskets Bonn.

Career

His college days spent Veikalas at Metro State College in Denver. After graduating, he moved back to his home and played two years for Kedainiai Nevezis in the first league of Lithuania. In 2009 he received a contract in the Czech Republic and played until 2011 for BK Prostějov. With his team, he was able to advance to the finals in 2011 for the national championship. There Prostejov but was defeated by CEZ Nymburk.

For the 2011/2012 season Veikalas signed for two years in Germany at the Telekom Baskets Bonn. For the 2013/2014 season Veikalas extended for two more years in Germany at the Telekom Baskets Bonn.
