Beñat Etxebarria (2010)

Beñat Etxebarria Urkiaga [ beɲat etʃeβari.a urkiaɣa ] (born 19 February 1987 in Igorre, Spain ), usually referred to simply as Beñat, is a Spanish footballer from the Basque Country. He is a midfielder and is used there centrally.

Career

Beñat Etxebarria came with eleven years to Athletic Bilbao, where he was trained in the following footballing terms. Later he was taken there in the B team and belonged from 2006 to the first team squad. However, he came here only once for a few minutes as a substitute for use. Then he moved to the 2008/09 season in the Segunda División B for UB Conquense before moving within the league to the B- team of Real Betis in the summer of 2009. In 2010 he was promoted to the Segunda División in the first squad and managed to secure a regular place there immediately. This season, with his team, he also achieved promotion to the Primera División. Also in this league, he kept his place and was subsequently appointed to the preliminary squad for the Euro 2012, although he had until then not played a game for the national team.

For the 2013/14 season changed Etxebarria within the Primera Division Real Betis to Athletic Bilbao.
