Bengt Anders Euphrasén
Bengt Anders Euphrasén (* April 1756 in the parish of Habo, historical province of Västergötland, Sweden, † December 25, 1796 in Stockholm) was a Swedish scientist ( botanist and zoologist ).
He studied in Uppsala in 1784.
In 1788 he made with the support of the Royal Academy of Sciences in Stockholm a natural history trip to the West Indies. He held from February 8 to April 16 on the island of Saint -Barthélemy, 16-17. April at Saint- Eustache and April 17-June 19 at Saint Christopher (today St. Kitts ) in.
After his return he became deputy demonstrator of botany.
