Benildus Romançon

Benilde Romançon FSC (also called Benildus, born June 14, 1805 in Thuret, France, † August 13 1862 in Saugues, France) was a French member of the Order of the Christian Brothers of St. John de la Salle and is in the Catholic Church as a saint worshiped.

Pierre, who came from a farming family came, 14 -year-old the " school brethren of St. John de la Salle " in and took the name of Benilde. He founded in Saugues a school, which he headed from 1841 itself. He was regarded as a sensitive educator and spiritual leader of the youth.
