Benoît Sauvageau
Benoît Sauvageau ( born November 22, 1963 in Charlemagne, Quebec, † 28 August 2006) was a Canadian politician of the Bloc Québécois.
He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree and worked as a lecturer in humanities and constitutional history later. On 25 October 1993 he was first in the lower house (House of Commons ) voted and initially represented the electoral district of Terrebonne (Quebec ), and then of his re-election on 2 June 1997 until his death in the electoral district of Repentigny. He was last re-elected on 23 January 2006.
During his parliamentary membership, he held various functions, he was from January 2003 to August 2004 Deputy Whip of his group. In addition, he was a member of various committees and sub-committees. Since the election of 28 June 2004, he was Deputy Chairman of the Audit Committee. Benoît Sauvageau, who died in an accident, leaving behind his wife and four children.
