Location

The place of Thyra is around 18 kilometers west of Sanger Hausen and about 16 km east of Nordhausen on the L 151, formerly the Federal Highway 80, the main road 85 and the motorway 38 The Kelbra Dam and the Kyffhaeuser lie south of the village. History
