Berlie Doherty
Berlie Doherty ( born November 6, 1943 in Knotty Ash, Liverpool as Berlie Hollingsworth ) is a British children 's and teen book author.
She worked as a social worker, teacher, and for the radio before it became a writer in 1983. In England it is mainly known as a children 's and teen book author, but has also been numerous books written for adults.
