The Bermecke, in the headwaters to the mouth of Höbecke Kloßsiepen, is a 4.7 km long, orographic left tributary of the Möhne in North Rhine-Westphalia Brilon, Germany.

Geography

The stream originates as Kloßsiepen south of Scharfenberg and east of Rixen at the saddle between Woltenberg and Gretenberg at an altitude of 496 m above sea level. NN. First, the stream flows in a northerly direction. After about a kilometer stretch of river the stream reaches the outskirts of Scharfenberg, of the stream then flows through. On the northern outskirts of the village, the course turns to the northeast.

With the mouth of the Höbecke at stationing 1.3 kilometers of creek Bermecke is named. Here the creek flows through the grounds of the wastewater treatment plant Scharfenberg and is dammed by the members of the wastewater treatment plant pond. A little later the Bermecke opens to 358 m above sea level. NN on the left into the Mohne.

From the source to the mouth of the height difference 138 m, corresponding to an average bed slope of 29.4 ‰. The Bermecke drains a 4.4 km ² large catchment area over the Mohne, Ruhr and Rhine to the North Sea.
