The Río Bermejo, also known simply Bermejo, is a river in southern South America.

The source of the Bermejo is located in the Bolivian Cordillera in Bolivia near the border with Argentina, through which it takes its further course to open at the border with Paraguay, the Paraguay River just above its confluence with the Paraná. The river has a length of about 1450 km. The middle section, called " Teuco " is half -round navigable.

The catchment area of ​​Bermejo comprises southern Bolivia and northwestern and northern Argentina.
