Bernadette Peters

Bernadette Peters ( born February 28, 1948 in New York City as Bernadette Lazzara ) is an American actress and singer.

Life and achievements

Peters ' ancestors came from Italy. Her mother Marguerite appeared on TV shows. Bernadette Peters attended the Quintano School for Young Professionals. She made her debut in the TV movie George M! from the year 1970. 's TV comedy Once Upon a Mattress (1972 ) she played a larger role, as in Ace Eli and Rodger Drama of the Skies (1973).

For her role as a singer in the silent film comedy Silent Movie (1976 ) as well as for her role in the television series Say that again Darling, she received two nominations for the 1977 Golden Globe Award.
