Bernardo Calderón Cabrera

Bernardo Cabrera Calderón ( born October 16, 1922 in Mexico City; † December 21, 2003 ) was a Mexican architect.

Biography

Calderón studied from 1940 to 1945 at the Escuela Nacional de Arquitectura (ENA ) of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México ( UNAM), where he taught from 1947 until May 2003 and thereafter. In 1980 he received his M.Arch. title.

As an architect he worked together with Manuel Ortiz Monasterio nunächst, and later with his brother José Luis Calderón Cabrera. His works include designs known buildings, including the headquarters of the ENA in the University City of the UNAM, and the restoration of larger churches in Mexico City.
