Bernd Michael Lade

Bernd Michael Lade ( born December 24, 1964 in East Berlin ) is a German actor and director.

Life

After training as a skilled construction workers in East Berlin, he studied acting at the Academy of Dramatic Arts " Ernst Busch" Berlin. This was followed by a theater engagement in Frankfurt ( Oder) and TV movies on television of the GDR. In the years prior to 1989 charge was a member of the punk scene in East Berlin. After the turn he began in 1991 studying directing at the Academy of Film and Television " Konrad Wolf" in Potsdam. His directorial debut he made in 1995 with the film Revenge ago. In 1991 he became known for his role as vertrottelter village policeman in Detlev Buck's movie Karniggels and from 1992 as a crime scene Commissioner M. Cain nationwide. Since late 2007, he joined with his partner Maria Simon again as a singer and guitarist of the neo- punk band Ret Marut - named after a pseudonym of the writer B. Traven - on.

Bernd Michael Lade is married to the actress Maria Simon, with whom he has three children. He lives with her, their children and her son from a previous relationship ( with Striesow ) in Berlin- Pankow.
