The Berrichone du Cher is a pure white, medium to large framed sheep meat. The wide, hornless head is without wool. Only older animals have sometimes on a wool mop. Also, the belly is often only partially wooly. The breeding of Berrichon du Cher sheep is in France by the state breeding organization GE.O.DE.
