Berrien, Finistère

Berrien ( Berrien Breton ) is a commune in the Finistère department in Brittany with 963 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011).

Location

The place is located in the Regional Natural Park of Armorica at the foothills of the ridge Arree Mounts in a hilly and wooded area. Morlaix is 20 kilometers north, 52 km west of Brest, Rennes 155 km east-southeast and Paris, about 450 km to the east.

Infrastructure

Berrien is secluded from the main traffic routes. In Morlaix and Landivisiau are the next departures of the highway E 50 (Rennes - Brest) and regional stations on the parallel line. In Brest and Rennes, there is the nearest regional airports.
