Bert Konterman

Bert Konterman ( born January 14, 1971 in Rouveen, Overijssel ) is a former Dutch football player.

Career

Konterman started his player career in 1989 at FC Zwolle. In 1993 he moved to Cambuur Leeuwarden. For the 1996/97 season he signed for Willem II Tilburg. In 1998, it Feyenoord under contract. With Feyenoord 1999 he became Dutch champion and winner of the Johan Cruyff Schaal. In 2000 he moved to Scotland to Glasgow Rangers. With the Rangers, he was Scottish champion in 2003. For the season 2003/ 04 he moved back to his home to Vitesse Arnhem. After the 03/ 04 season, he finished his career.

For the Dutch national team, he played from 1999 to 2000 a total of 12 games without it being possible to celebrate a score. With the Oranje Oranje he took part in the 2000 European Championships in their own country.
