Bertie Higgins

Bertie Higgins ( born December 8, 1944 in Tarpon Springs as Elbert Joseph Higgins ) is an American musician.

Bertie Higgins was a ventriloquist in his youth and then began to play the drums. He was the drummer for the band The Roemans, the backing band of Tommy Roe, with whom he completed worldwide tours. In 1968, Higgins separated from the Roemans and returned to Tarpon Springs. He started his own songs to write and brought in 1982, the album Just Another Day in Paradise out. The Single Key Largo reached the top ten in the U.S. charts. The other albums and singles by Higgins could not build on the success from the year 1982.
