Bertolt-Brecht-Literaturpreis
The Bertolt Brecht Prize is awarded by the city of Augsburg, the hometown of Bertolt Brecht, since 1995, every three years. (2006 the award has been preferred to mark the 50th death anniversary of Brecht one year. ) The price is 15.000 EUR one of the most highly endowed literary awards in Germany.
The prize is awarded to personalities " who have distinguished themselves through the critical analysis of the present in her literary work ."
