The volcano Berutarube (Russian Берутарубе ) forms the south-western part of the Kuril island Iturup.

The flanks of the andesitic and dacitic material consisting of volcano are cut by glaciers shaped valleys deep. The recent eruptions of the volcano occurred in front of several hundred to more than a thousand years. There are no historical tradition of eruptions of the volcano known. The summit crater contains some active Fumarolenfelder in which the escaping gases, sulfur is deposited.
