Besa Kavajë

Klubi Sportiv Kavaja Besa is an Albanian football club from Kavaja.

KS Besa Kavajë currently plays in the top league. Play their home games, the club from the Besa Stadium, which offers 8,000 spectators. The international home matches in the years 2007 and 2008 were held in Durres in the stadium Niko Dovana, 2010 in Tirana Qemal - Stafa Stadium.

History

The club was founded in 1925 under the name SK Adriatiku Kavaja. After five years, it was decided to rename itself SK Kavaja. In 1933 they played for the first time in the first Albanian League. 10 years after its founding, the club was awarded in 1935 for the first time its present name, but was renamed in 1950 in Pune Kavaja, before he returned in 1956 received its current name. 1971 Besa Kavaja lost in the final of the Balkan Cup against Panionios Athens. Often starting in 2007 so well that you could repeatedly qualify for international competitions - Between 1986-2011, the club plays always top notch with the exception of the 2004/05 season.
