Bettancourt-la-Ferrée

Bettancourt -la- Ferree is a commune with 1763 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Haute -Marne, in the Champagne -Ardenne region; it belongs to the arrondissement of Saint- Dizier and the canton of Saint-Dizier -Nord -Est.

Geography

The village is located approximately 2.5 km northeast of the city center of Saint- Diziers and directly adjacent to the city. The small river Ornel, a tributary of the Marne, flows through the community.
