The community association Betz village is an administrative unit in the form of a local authority in the district of Old Churches ( Westerwald) in Rhineland- Palatinate. The municipality includes the town Betz village as well as four independent local churches, the council is based in the eponymous city Betz village.

Geography
The municipality is located in the extreme north -east of Rhineland -Palatinate between the Westerwald and the winner's country. In Betz village, the river flows into the Heller victory.

History
The mayor Betz village was established on 1 April 1886, the separation of the communities Betz village, Alsdorf, Green Brook, Sassenroth, Dauersberg, Scheuerfeld, customs and Wallmenroth of the mayor's churches ( win) by order of the top presidents of the Rhine province out of 10 November 1885. The community rupture came in 1907 by incorporation at the Betz village. 1927, the mayors were renamed offices. The community Sassenroth was spun off in 1955 in the newly formed " municipality and " Herdorf. Due to the administrative reform in Rhineland -Palatinate in 1968 were restructured " office " and got the name " Association of Municipalities ".

The coat of arms of the municipality Betz village is split right into a golden red, with the viewer looking lion with red tongue, left in black and a silver slant bar, occupied by three black Eberköpfen. The lion is from the coat of arms of the Counts of Sayn and the Eberköpfe from the Lords of Freusburg.

The municipality is situated approximately 20 kilometers off the A45 and close to the winning country - airport approved for instrument and night flight operations. The airports of Cologne / Bonn and Frankfurt / Main can be reached by train.
