Bezeq

Bezeq (Hebrew בזק; literally flash) is an Israeli telecommunications company. She was state-owned until privatization in 2005. Before the opening of the telecommunications market in 1997, Bezeq was the only supplier of telephone connections. The company is listed on stock exchange in the TA -100 Index of the Tel Aviv.

1997 had to allow international calls through Bezeq competitors in a phone booth and landline connections. Instead of 00 prefixes 012 ( Golden Lines ) were 013 ( Barak ) and 014 ( Bezeq ) introduced.

The first Israeli mobile operator Pelephone is now 100 percent of Bezeq, which the company is a market leader in both fixed -network and mobile network.
