The Biakliest ( Tanysiptera riedelii ) is an endemic species of kingfishers, which is found only on the island belonging to Indonesia Biak north of West New Guinea.
Features
Biakliest the size of about 20 cm. He has a big red bill, a pale blue head, white breast plumage and blue wings. He has two very long tail feathers, as is typical for a Paradieseisvogel.
Occurrence
The Biakliest is widespread on the island of Biak. It feeds on insects and worms, which it catches on the ground.
