Bibans
The Bibans ( (Arabic البيبان ), Kabyle: Tiggoura ) are a chain of mountains in northern Algeria, bordering the Kabylia in the south. The highest peaks are 1,862 meters high Mansoura ( جبل منصورة ) and the 1832 m high Choukchout ( شوكشوط ). The Bibans are a mountain range of the Tell Atlas. All strategic monitoring points are located at the level of passports of Biban Mountains (Iron Gates ). The most important gorge is the " Bab al - Kabir " (large gate) and connects via the " Wadi Chebba " Algiers by rail. About 2 km to the east, the " Bab al - Saghir " is (the small gate).
The inhabitants of the villages go Kabyle practices, such as the goat and beekeeping. Order fields for olive tree cultivation. There are various community oil mills.
