Bibliothèque François Mitterrand (Paris Métro and RER)

Bibliothèque François Mitterrand is an underground station on line 14 of the Paris Métro. It is located in the 13th arrondissement of Paris, near the Bibliothèque nationale de France. There is transit traffic to the RER C at the underground station of the same name linked. With about 37,000 passengers a day counted the station in 2004 to the ten busiest stations of the metro.

The station was taken on 15 October 1998 with the opening of the line 14 into operation. This makes it one of the youngest stations in the Paris Metro network. The line 14 then inverted on the Madeleine Bibliothèque François Mitterrand section. Until the central station Châtelet there are about five kilometers.
