Bielsko Synagogue

The synagogue Bielsko (Polish Synagoga w Bielsko ) was located in the Silesian town of Bielsko (Polish Bielsko, now part of Bielsko -Biała)

It was designed by Ludwig Beautiful and Karol Korn and built 1879-1881. The building had two corner towers and decorated in an oriental style. It was completely destroyed during the Second World War on September 13, 1939, only the foundations and part of the basement have been preserved. After the war, the point at which there was the synagogue was built again. In 1991, a plaque with a Polish and Hebrew inscription, as well as the representation of a menorah was attached to this building.
