Bienvenue Basala-Mazana

Bienvenue Basala - Mazana ( born January 2, 1992, Bonn, Germany ) is a German footballer of Congolese origin. He won with the German U- 17 national team, the Junior European Championship 2009.

Association

In his youth, played Bienvenue from 1999 to 2004 for FC Ringsdorff Godesberg. Later he attended the sports boarding the 1st FC Cologne. He played there in several youth departments. Since the 2009/10 season Bienvenue is also in the squad of the 2nd team of the 1st FC Cologne, which plays in the Regionalliga West. In the season 2010/11 he was in the squad of 1st team for which he however did not play this season.

For the 2011/12 season changed Basala - Mazana on loan to the Austrian first division side SV Ried. His debut as a professional he was on 16 July 2011, when he was in the starting line-up in the 1-1 draw against Sturm Graz.

In preparation for the 2012/13 season Basala - Mazana was singled out by coach Holger Stanislawski from the professional squad and put in the second team.

National

Bienvenue Basala - Mazana went through several youth teams of the DFB, he played for the U16, U17 and U18 selection in Germany. The highlight in his young career he experienced in May 2009 in their own country, when he won the Under-17 European Championship. He also scored a goal in the semifinal against Italy. With this success, the team qualified for the U -17 World Championship 2009, where they lost in extra time in the second round of the Switzerland of the selection.

In September 2011, he completed his only game for the U-20 national team.
