Biezelinge

The village once had a port which, however, was filled in 1717 and today is a market place. Also, there was once a convent, whose foundations were excavated later. The village is separated by a rail line from the chapel and has a railway station. Some well-known companies have their headquarters in Biezelinge, including Hapro solariums and Coroos preserves. The Dutch Prime Minister Jan Peter Balkenende was born in Biezelinge.

The place is connected via the railway station Chapel Biezelinge to the Zeeland Lijn, which runs from Roosendaal to Vlissingen.
