The Biferno is a river in the central Italian region of Molise in the province of Campobasso. The Biferno 84 km long, rises in Boiano and ends after he has an artificial lake of Lago di Guardialfiera flowing through it, into the Adriatic Sea. Named after the river is the wine region Biferno.
