Biff Brewster

A Biff Brewster Mystery Adventure: in short, Biff Brewster, is a relocated in the United States, consisting of thirteen volumes adventure and crime novels for young people. The name refers to the title character, Bruce " Biff " Brewster.

The series was published under the Verlagspseudonym Andy Adams. This pseudonym and thus the joint authorship was shared by the writer Walter B. Gibson, Peter Harkins and Edward Pastore. Published the volumes 1960-1965 in the publishing Grosset & Dunlap in New York. Parts of the series also appeared in Dutch, Norwegian and Swedish.

Walter Brown Gibson wrote the volumes 4, 7 and 13; Harkins volumes 6, 10, 11 and 12; Pastore volumes 5 and 8 The extent to which volumes 1 and 9 Gibson and Pastore can be assigned, is still unclear. Also uncertain is the authorship of volumes 2 and 3

Summary

Bruce " Biff " Brewster is a 16- year-old youth, who accompanied his father, Thomas Brewster regularly to its exotic jobs. These are usually in distant countries, where Thomas must perform important and often secret work as an engineer of the Ajax Mining Company. At the same time solves Biff mysterious puzzle or clarify any crime.
