Big 12 Conference

The Big 12 Conference is a currently leveling ten universities League for various sports that play in the NCAA Division I. In college football teams play in the Football Bowl Subdivision (formerly Division IA).

The League was founded in 1994 when the former Big Eight Conference with four schools from Texas merged, previously played in the Southwest Conference. The headquarters is located in Irving, Texas.

Among the sports in which organized the Big 12 Conference contests, basketball, cross country, golf, diving, tennis and track and baseball, American football and wrestling are among men and soccer, softball, gymnastics, and volleyball for women.
