Biga is a town in the Turkish province of Çanakkale.

After the city of Çanakkale Biga is the most populous county town in this province. To the north borders of the district Biga on the Marmara Sea, east of Gonen, south to Çan and west to Lapseki. The population is 37,196. With all its communities, the population is 80,982 (as of 2008 ). Politically includes 107 villages and 5 towns to Biga. This is the Biga district with most of the villages in Turkey.

Besides agriculture, the steel industry is a key economic factor. Biga is also considered a college town and is home annually to the 2,000 students. The River Biga Çayı, the ancient Granicus, the city cut in two halves. Despite its proximity to the sea Biga does not have a coastline.
