Bil Aka Kora

Bil Aka Kora, Kora actually Akaramata Bilgo, ( born December 31, 1971 in Pô, Upper Volta, now Burkina Faso ) is a musician from the West African nation of Burkina Faso. He was elected as the best musicians of his country in 2002. His style of music he calls Djongo, which he created with his band Djongo system based on the traditional music and dances of Kassena, ethnicity, Bil Aka Kora comes from. His first album was released in 1998, and he also worked with, among others, the Austrian Hubert von Goisern. 2002 and 2005 he was awarded the Customer d'or for Best Artist Burkina Faso.
