Bilasuvar District

Biləsuvar (also Bilasuvar ) is a rayon in Azerbaijan. Capital of the district is the city Biləsuvar. The district is bordered to the west by the Iranian province of Ardabil.

Geography

Bilasuvar is a south- Azerbaijani rayon. The rayon has an area of 1,358 km ². The district is located in the Mugansteppe.

Population

The rayon had 2009 87.300 inhabitants. This is spread over a town and 25 villages.

Economy

The region is dominated by agriculture, it is grown and operated livestock especially cotton and grain.
