Bill Mitchell (economist)

Bill Mitchell ( born March 7, 1952) is an Australian economist.

Bill Mitchell is Professor of Economics at the University of Newcastle in New South Wales. Mitchell is representative of the Modern Monetary Theory.

Mitchell is Director of the Centre of Full Employment and Equity ( Coffee), a research institute at the University of Newcastle, which examines how full employment and good economic conditions of life for all people are possible.
