Bill Pronzini

William John Pronzini ( born April 13, 1943 in Petaluma, California) is an American writer who writes mainly crime novels and storys, but also Wild West and science fiction novels. Pronzini uses different pseudonyms: Robert Hart Davis, Jack Foxx, William Jeffrey, Alex Saxon and John Barry Williams.

Life

Bill Pronzini spent his youth in California. With various ancillary activities as workers trying to earn a living, so as warehouse workers or temporary security guard. During his first marriage to Laura Patricia Adolphson 1966, he published his first story You Do not Know What It's Like and evolved since that time to the " prolific writer ". After the death of his wife he married in 1972 Brunhilde Schier; They were divorced in 1985. Pronzini is currently living with his third wife, the popular crime novelist Marcia Muller in San Francisco, with whom he already published several novels common.
