Billingsfors

Billingsfors is a place ( tätort ) in the Swedish province of Västra Götaland County and the historic province of Dalsland. He belongs to the municipality Bengtsfors.

The town is located on the western shore of the lake Laxsjön about five miles south of the capital of the municipality. Through the town the roads lead länsveg 164 and 172 Billingsfors lies on the railway line Mellerud - Arvika. The route is now used as a tourist attraction because A historic railcars during the summer months between Mellerud and Bengtsfors.

A notoriety is the football club Billingsfors IK, which occupies the last place in the eternal table of Allsvenskan.
