Bima

Bima is a city on the east coast of the island of Sumbawa in Indonesia's Nusa Tenggara Barat province. In 2005, the city had ( Kota ) has an estimated population of 123 064 inhabitants, the surrounding administrative district ( kabupaten ) Bima 407 636 inhabitants.

History

Bima was the capital of the Sultanate of Bima, which had fallen on the east coast of the island of Sumbawa after the Islamization of the early 17th century by the ancient Hindu Kingdom.
