Bin Air

Bin Air is a German charter airline based in Munich and based on the Munich airport. She performs both passenger flights and cargo transports.

Fleet

As of July 2013, the fleet of Air Bin consists of seven aircraft:

  • 5 Fairchild Swearingen Metro
  • 2 Fairchild Swearingen Merlin

Incidents

  • On January 26, 2014, the landing gear of an aircraft in the Air I snapped away as this was pushed in the Maintenance section of the Cologne / Bonn airport. The wing and the tail of the plane hit on the ground and it ran about 500 liters of kerosene. Hurt no one was there.
  • On January 19, 2010 had the bin Air emergency landing with the registration D - CKPP because of suspension problems on the Stuttgart airport, a Fairchild Swearingen Metro. In this case, the aircraft slid off the runway. The two crew members were not injured.
