Bin bag

A trash bag or garbage bag, trash bag in Switzerland or garbage bag, a bag for transport or temporary storage of waste, which is disposed of with the content (see waste ). It is often used as inserts in waste container so that it itself remains clean.

Origin

The invention of garbage bags is attributed to Canadians Harry Wasylyk, Larry Hansen and Frank Plomp, who allegedly invented the garbage bag in the 1950s. In Germany at least since the 1970s, a wide dissemination has taken place.

Description

According to the dimensions of various forms of waste container and the garbage bags are used in various dimensions. The size also plays a role in the conceptual definition of trash bags and garbage bags. Trash bags are usually bags with a capacity of up to 70 liters, garbage bags are usually bags with a capacity of 70 liters or more. For the production of bags for a wide variety of materials may be used. Frequently encountered are garbage bags of paper, HDPE, LDPE and biodegradable film. Depending on the purpose trash bags are produced today not only as a classic flat bags, but also in other colors:
