Bins field ( Luxembourgish Bënzelt ) is a district of the municipality of Luxembourg Weiswampach in the canton of Diekirch.

History

At the beginning of the 1970s a Roman cremation cemetery was discovered in bins field, which suggests a very early settlement.

Church

Since the 15th century there was a chapel in Bins field. As the population increased, in 1892, planning started a church. It was built in Neo-Gothic style and consecrated on 20 May 1894, the Holy Trinity. The first patron is Saint Anthony, the second of the Holy Hubertus.
