Birger Sellin

Birger Sellin ( born 1 February 1973 in Berlin) was known as the German author of book publications, he is said to have written independently, despite his disability as autistic.

Life and work

Sellin has since the age of two - probably due to a postencephalitic Retardation - in his behavior characteristics of autism, which affect him greatly. Since August 1990, however, his parents see in the " mediated communication " a way to be able to communicate in writing with her son. The journalist Michael Klonovsky 1992 attention to the case and wrote the Hamburger Time magazine of 31 July 1992 an article about Birger Sellin.

Larger notoriety finally achieved by Sellin in 1993, edited by Michael Klonovsky book I want to be no more Inmich, which is said to have written Sellin independently with the help of assisted communication.
