Birgit Schütz

Birgit contactor ( born October 8, 1958 in Brandenburg an der Havel ) is a former rower from the GDR. She won Olympic gold in 1980 in the eighth.

Birgit contactor coached at the SG Dynamo Potsdam under Henry Mederow. After runner-up titles in 1977, she won the East German championship in 1978, both in four and in the eighth.
