Birgitta Jónsdóttir

Birgitta Jónsdóttir ( born April 17, 1967 in Reykjavík ) is an Icelandic politician. She is Chair of the Icelandic Pirate Party Píratar.

Icelandic policy

Jónsdóttir was elected in 2009 in the constituency Reykjavík South for the party Citizens' Movement in the Icelandic parliament Althingi. It is Group President and spokesperson of the movement for a new Icelandic press law ( Icelandic Modern Media Initiative, IMMI ).

Jónsdóttir, 2011 was a co-founder of the later set again unveiling platform GreenLeaks.org.
