Bisso na Bisso

Bisso Na Bisso ( German: between us or below us on Lingala ) is a French-speaking musicians collective of rappers and singers with roots in the Republic of Congo, which was founded in 1999. The group consists of Ben -J (of Les Neg'Marrons ), Lino and Calbo (of Ärsenik ), DOC TMC and G Kill (from 2Bal ), mysticism, and the only woman M'Passi, which was initiated by French rapper Passi.

Work

The first album of the group, Racine ( German: roots) contains a merge of hip hop with African rhythms and sounds like rumba, zouk and soukous. Work on the album as a guest musician with prominent African musicians such as Koffi Olomide, Papa Wemba, Ismaël Lô, Kassav and Monique Seka.

Bisso Na Bisso have devoted much energy to organize humanitarian aid to Congo and other African countries. In addition to its humanitarian aid they have also criticized African leaders with their texts. In Dans la peau d'un chef criticize government corruption with the exemplary line of text: " I pray for the development of my country is falling into decay did / believe me I swear to gorge myself ... "
