Bitdefender is a Romanian manufacturer of antivirus software packages ( Suites ). The company was spun off from the software manufacturer Softwin 2007. The program package was released in November 2001 for the first time and updated since at least once a year. Bitdefender was spun off from the computer software company Softwin, 2007. Softwin was founded in 1990 and is located in Bucharest, Romania. The first anti -virus software from Softwin called AVX ( AntiVirus eXpert ) and published worldwide from 1996 to 2001. AVX introduced some innovations into the antivirus market. Bitdefender Antispam NeuNet

Bitdefender Antispam NeuNet, short for Neural Network, is an anti-spam filter that was pre-programmed by Bitdefender Antispam Lab on a series of spam messages. He remembers spam and sorted according to similarities new messages. The technology thus learns from and improves self-employed.
