Bite indicator

Bite alarms are fishing to signal the fish to bite.

When fishing methods without float and in particular during night fishing bite alarms are essential, since both of Anglo tactical reasons as well as from the viewpoint of animal welfare, an unnoticed bite should be avoided. Electronic Bite Alarms monitor the line deduction. An impeller interrupts string trigger a photocell, whereupon an audible and / or visual signal is generated. Through the use of 2 - or 4- bladed wheels can be set in some electronic bite indicators also the sensitivity. This is especially useful on running water or in strong winds.

Another type of electronic bite alarm works with a magnet wheel, which triggers a signal through its momentum.
